Round 3 of the Oppo Fourza Classic Roadsters Series Starts In An Hour

* !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! * The next stop in our trip around the world takes us from New England to “Old England”, at the Silverstone Circuit in Silverstone, Northhamptonshire.

Silverstone was officially built on the site of a WWII Royal Air Force base in 1948, at the behest of the Royal Automobile Club. It is most known for being host to the British Grand Prix, which it first hosted in 1948, and has done so for many years since. Since its construction, Silverstone has also played host to other series such as GT, Superbike, and quite notably, the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

Silverstone is mostly a flat track, but it has some areas of elevation that liven up the circuit for any type of vehicle. This, coupled with sweeping turns and long straights, give plenty of opportunities for some dynamic racing.

A historic race track such as this is a great place for historic cars.

Hey Robo, due to the fact that I may not be able to host the CTSCC race next Sunday due to a possible work commitment, I was playing around with the idea of doing this upcoming weeks race on Saturday instead, right after your classic race. Instead of the tag or cat and mouse, it would be a “double header” of racing. I wont do it, if you have a problem with it.

What do you think of the idea?

I think there are too many people that wouldn’t be able to stay on long enough for another race but I’d be game for it even before it if that makes things easier for people?

It only takes a little over 30 minutes, which we usually spend playing tag...but I’m willing to try it, or earlier as you suggested. Otherwise, I will likely have to rain date it to 8/23/15.

Disregard. It is part of the reason; however, I was just trying not to put it off for an extra week because I may not be able to host it this Sunday due to other obligations...

The one on the series rules post? I started a multiplayer lobby on Le Mans, filled it with as many AI drivers as possible, assigned each of them a different car to be used in the series (with me in the Aston), and did one lap. Then I saved the replay and took the picture of everyone at the starting line, applying various filters to give it an old-timey look.

Also, I really wish you could assign AI drivers cars from your garage. That would make things pretty darn interesting.
